At Valentin Sancti Petri

Facing the 8 kilometres of golden sand on La Barrosa Beach, in Novo Sancti Petri (Cádiz), Valentin Sancti Petri understands sustainability as more than a set of good practices. It is an ongoing commitment to people and the environment that surrounds us.

For more than a decade, we have worked to ensure that every stay has the lowest possible impact on the Cádiz coastline, protecting the dune ecosystem, optimising the use of water and energy, and building lasting relationships with the community of Chiclana de la Frontera. All these initiatives are part of Valentin Cares, our sustainability, social responsibility and hygiene programme.

Regenerative Model

We do not see sustainability as a standalone project, but as a core principle that runs across our entire operation. We align our strategy with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG criteria, moving beyond reducing our impact to actively contributing to the improvement of the La Barrosa environment.

Energy and Climate Action
Against Climate Change

Approximately 30% of the energy we consume comes from our own photovoltaic installations. We use high-efficiency Trane climate control systems and, since 2024, we have been calculating and reporting our carbon footprint to the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO). Our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality for direct emissions (Scope 1) by 2027.
